Hello, I'm Kasper, a 23-year-old Electromechanical Engineering student from Belgium. Besides my studies, I love running, hiking in the mountains, swimming, bouldering, working in youth movement, philosophy, good food, travelling, and being with friends. I like working with my hands and I don't mind hard work. Creating things is what keeps me going. Ever since I was young I enjoyed being outside. I consider myself to be an easy-going, social, active, creative and optimistic person. I am not afraid of taking on responsibilities or taking initiative. I love meeting new people and I'm always eager to learn more about their lives and their language. I'm a flexible person who likes making myself useful and learning new things.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

-Right now I'm studying Electromechanical Engineering. On top of this, I consider myself to be rather handy. I can help out with electricity and small-scale construction. I have experience with technical drawing, CAD modeling in NX, Programming in Python and Java, Laser cutting, 3D printing, Milling, CNC, and Electrical design and safety.
-I just lived 6 months in Istanbul - I love meeting people from different cultures!
-I built furniture, repaired, painted, and isolated houses during previous workaways.
-I have been working on projects enabling Biomethanisation (or gasification) of waste.
-I have been working on sustainability for 4 years now (Tracks and multiple business cases). Next year I will be mastering in eco-technologies.
-I have a lot of energy and love hard work; I can help out with hard gardening chores and construction.
-I've been a leader in youth movement for 5 years now. Therefore I love to organize games for kids and youngsters.
-I have basic knowledge of motorcycle and car repair.
-I have some experience using drills and chainsaws.
-I am very used to living outside in a tent or a shelter for long periods.
-As a scout leader and experienced hiker, I am able to guide small and medium groups in the mountains.
-I used to be a member of the Belgian Air Cadets.
-I love climbing and am able to fix things in difficult locations :).
-I'm a team player: I love cooperating with different kinds of people.
