Hello:)
my name is Karolina and I am from Poland. I have been living in Gdańsk for 10 years now, where I also studied German philology. Currently, I am working in a kindergarten. I love the sea, mountains and nature in general. I am keen on walking, cycling, actively spending free time, travelling and learning foreign languages. I have been volunteering at a children's home Dom Korczaka in Gdansk for 7 years.I was also on an 8-month EVS volunteer program in Germany what was a great experience for me. This year I volunteered in October on an alpaca farm in Germany (Bavaria) and in November at an occupational therapy center for people with disabilities in Spain (Galicia). Both Workaway-experiences were amazing and taught me a lot. I would like to repeat workaway adventure once more time this time in North of Spain preferably this summer.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I speak fluently German. I am a german teacher by profession so I am able to teach the language, I speak English at advanced level and have the basic knowledge of Spanish. I have already some experience in voluntary service (EVS) in Germany, where I spent 8 months in an eco-friendly camp organising activities for children. For last 7 years I am also involved in a cooperation with Dom Korczaka in Gdańsk, where I take care of a 10-year old Kamila suffering from cerebral paralysis. At the moment I am looking for a shorter volunteer work (1 month approximately) in a Spanish or speaking country. I am optimistic, helpful, eager to learn, ready for a change and adventure:)
