Hi there! :D
My name is Karolin, I'm 21 years old and from a small town in Germany.
I'm starting Uni later this year and decided to leave my beloved job and take time to travel around some more this summer.
I'm looking forward to getting to know new people and learning and experiencing as much as I can. :)
I finished school in 2022 and decided to take some time off to get to know myself better, gain new experiences and figure out what I want in life.
Apart from different workaways and small travels, I did 12 months of voluntary work in a social facility and worked with mentally ill people, which was a challenging yet rewarding experience. It also helped me decide on a career path. I applied to study social work next semester, which I'm really excited for.
After my voluntary service, in December, I started working in a dog centre with a daycare and pension service. Growing up I've always wanted to have a dog, so working there feels like a dream come true and I love taking care of (and cuddeling:D) all of the dogs.
I'm happiest out in nature and love hiking, going on walks or any other kind of physical activity. I also really enjoy running and horseback riding.
Some of my favorite things to do are reading, baking and gardening. Other than that, I love all kinds of creative things like crocheting, crafting, furniture upcycling, painting and I'm interested in art & photography. I love animals, especially dogs & horses:)

I grew up with a big garden and am not afraid to get my hands dirty.
Other than that, I really enjoy being around and caring for all kinds of animals. I'm experienced with horses and dogs.
I would love to learn more about gardening, horses and life on a small farm.

I am more of an introvert and a quiet person, not really into partying. I'd much rather spend a saturday night crocheting and chatting, than out partying. I'm fine with spending time alone but also really enjoy meeting new people, though I might need some time to get comfortable.
