Hi All,

We are Karina and Geri from Hungary. Both of us are open-minded and eager to grow. We would like to get know different cultures, people, places, thoughts, activities and everything.

We started our Workaway adventure in Portugal and Spain, we met amazing and beautiful people. In the past year (2023) we lived in Malta. Now we are back and really excited about our future adventures.

We would like to improve our current language-knowledge (English, German) and learn new languages (e.g.: Italian, Spanish, Greek..) . Geri's English level is more like a Beginner, whereas Karina's is intermediate. Karina also speak in German a little. Both of us are interested in teaching Hungarian.

-Both us are economists so we can gladly give help in the field of Economics.
-We have little niece and nephews, so we have experience with children (0-5 year-old).

After living for 1 year in Malta we are at home now. In our free time, we hike a lot, do different sports (cross training, running, wall-climbing, squash), bake cakes, try out new (cooking) recipes, look after our little niece and nephew and learn.

We spent 3 weeks at Angelika's place, we had enjoyable time and the nature is unbelievable, mountains are everywhere and the sea is easily reachable. We also really loved all of the dogs and the cultural exchange with Angelika.

Mel was an amazing host, super kind and lovely woman. She was always cooperative and helpful. We could even go to Valencia with her. (Valencia is easily reachable.) We are so grateful for Nicky and Colin. They are so kind, careful, clever and hardworking people.
We had a lovely time with them, we got nice meals everyday, and under nice we mean e.g the beautiful breakfast we had and the best curry ever. We even went out and had a delicious English dinner together.

We are so happy that these guys came to us. Lovely couple, hard working, and fun to be with. All the animals, especially Marley will miss them both.
Apart from feeding and cleaning the animal pens daily, we built a new chicken coop, built an Avery, cleared fields etc

Geri and Karina they are a friendly and communicative couple.
Most of the time the communication was with Karina, because Gari didn't understand much of English, so she was a translator.
They did all the tasks in a good mood and in a way that they were well done.

We stayed almost 3 weeks with Mónica and Miguel. They always helped us with everything and recommended a lot of amazing places to visit, the environment here is beautiful with lots of waterfalls.
We always get some local specialities for dinner or lunch, we liked them a lot.

Amazing people and nature! We can just recommend this lovely couple with so big heart! Before we met, it turned out that we have to travel home for a week and they were so helpful and generous. We had amazing common meals and nice time together and we could learn a lot during the work here.

Amazing experience!!! So kind and lovely people and a beautiful environment. We adored the animals and we are already missing them. We could try, see and eat so many wonderful things during one week, it's hard to believe that we could find such a perfect place.

We couldn't wish better first host for us than Matteo. He is generous, funny, helpful, (a terminator :D) and we could continue the list with more and more positive charasteristics.
