Description
We are a couple in our early thirties from France, currently travelling around Ireland and looking for meaningful Workaway experiences to improve our English, discover the country more deeply, and share daily life with locals.
We already travelled to Ireland last year and completely fell in love with the atmosphere, the landscapes, and the kindness of the people. That experience made us want to come back for a longer adventure and discover Irish culture in a more authentic way. For us, living with locals is the best way to truly experience a country, learn new skills, and create genuine connections.
I’m Julie, 30. I love travelling, discovering new cultures, and I’m passionate about dance, piano and arts in general. I also enjoy yoga and DIY projects, from building furniture to crochet and sewing. I work as a nurse in France and I’m currently taking a break to travel. I’m kind, open-minded, curious, and always happy to learn new things.
My partner, Jérémy, is 31. After our first trip to Ireland, he decided to join me in this project. He doesn’t speak English very well yet and is a bit shy and introverted, but he is very motivated, caring, and always willing to help. He works as an ambulance driver in France, is people-oriented, sporty, and enjoys music, gaming and board games.
We both love nature, walking, animals, watching films and series, and spending simple and meaningful time together. We are flexible and easy-going, happy to help with animals, house tasks, gardening and DIY projects, and ready to adapt to different needs.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
As a nurse and a paramedic, we both developed strong social and interpersonal skills. We genuinely enjoy helping people and always try to bring empathy, kindness, and positive energy into daily life.
Gardening and DIY are not our original fields, but we are practical, adaptable, and fast learners. We enjoy hands-on work, learning new skills, and we already have some experience with renovation projects. We are also very comfortable with cleaning, home organisation, and cooking, and we always do our best to help wherever needed!

We lived in a cosy caravan in the woods, which gave us both privacy and comfort. Robb is very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed, including plenty of space for our (big!) luggage.
