I am an Australian woman, age 61. In the last 6 months, I studied Arctic Studies in Iceland and volunteered in Poland, assisting families crossing the border from Ukraine. In my home of Tasmania, Australia, I welcome many international travellers. As a guest, I am fit, healthy and enthusiastic to help with any jobs. My interests are nature, particularly the ocean. I hold an LLM in Law of the Sea, and am passionate about study. I would be happy working on a farm, remote areas and outdoors as well as cooking, cleaning and helping with child care. As a guest I am neat and considerate of your home. From May I will be in Ireland and possibly Scotland. I am particularly interested in Workaway in Ireland, on farms, islands or remote areas, anywhere in Ireland really, and for short or longer term. I really like working with farm animals, but have no experience with cows yet. I also greatly love all dogs, and my own dogs in Australia have been a Border Collie and a Red Heeler. I can also care for young high energy dogs, or elder dogs, and respect the rules for working dogs.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have worked as a registered Teacher Aide in a Steiner School ror 10 years. Recently I volunteered in the Children's Room at an Humanitarian Centre, for persons coming across the border from Ukraine to Poland. This was in 2022 for two months, under "Save The Children". Activities were art, craft and play.
In April this year (2023) I stayd on the land of a family in Portugal for a week. I helped with watering plants and land clearing. I especially liked reading English books with the girls aged 7 and 9, going to school and community events, swimming practice, and time with the family dog.
In Tasmania, Australia, I am a partner in a business constructing Walking Tracks. The work is physical and hard and also requires environmental report writing.
As a guest I am hard working, neat and clean and respect your place. Early this year, 2023, I stayed in Germany, assisting a Host to manage and clean accommodation facilities.
I am adaptable to different tasks, and love animals, especially if there is a dog.
