Hello, my name is Julia! I like to read, sew clothing, garden, learn languages, and play pool. My current life goal is to become fluent in Spanish, which I practice mostly on my own and sometimes with my coworkers or Spanish-speaking friends. I would like to be fluent in at least 3 languages in this lifetime, so I try to dedicate time daily to this. The thing that I love most about traveling, and more specifically volunteering abroad, is finding a new routine in a different place. Even though each day might look different, I try to set some sort of routine no matter where I am, and pick up some new hobbies along the way. I love meeting new people and bonding over shared or new experiences.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have worked in construction here and there, mostly simple jobs like siding or decking but I am good with a hammer and nails or a screw gun.I built a raised garden bed for my yard to make more room for my plants, as well as a bird-feeder for our yard.(although it seems to have become a squirrel feeder, but I don’t mind) I would consider myself to have a ‘green thumb’ and have a couple plants indoors that have been with me for many years. I also keep a garden in my backyard. I love anything that has to do with plants, animals, and nature.
