Hi!

I'm Jule, an enthusiastic and curious traveler from Nijmegen, the Netherlands. I love being outside, exploring new places, and stepping out of my comfort zone. I feel connected to my roots, but I've always had the urge to cross borders.

At the moment, I'm in the middle of a bike journey from Singapore to Portugal with my Portuguese boyfriend. Due to an injury he's recovering from, we're taking a short break from the trip. During this pause, I’d love to spend some time in Portugal alone, to explore what it would be like to build a life there.

Being outdoors, away from the distractions of social media and my usual social environment, helps me reflect on what I want in life. That’s why I’m currently looking for a Workaway experience somewhere in nature, ideally something practical, peaceful, and connected to the land.

In addition to traveling, I enjoy writing, sports, playing a little bit of music, and working as a barista.
I'm positive, independent, and always up for learning something new.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I graduated in Nursing and completed a pre-master in Educational Sciences. I'm a caring and attentive person, and I naturally look after the people around me.

My native language is Dutch and I speak English well. I also speak a little Portuguese and I’d love to improve it, especially since my boyfriend is Portuguese and I’m spending more time in Portugal.

I have work experience in hospitality, mainly as a barista, which I really enjoy. I love working with people in a relaxed, hands-on environment.
