Description

Hi! I'm Julien, a French traveler who has been exploring the world for the past few years, from Asia to Europe, New Zealand and Australia. I love discovering new places through the people who live there and immersing myself in local daily life.
Before travelling I worked as a computer scientist, but over the last years I’ve also worked as a cook and on farms. These experiences taught me to be adaptable, practical and not afraid of hard work. I’m comfortable in the kitchen (preparing meals, organizing, cleaning) and I enjoy outdoor tasks like gardening, basic construction, maintenance or farm work. I learn quickly and I’m always happy to try new skills.
I usually travel in a simple way (hitchhiking, sailing or walking) because I value meaningful encounters and authentic experiences. Through Workaway, I’m not just looking for a place to stay, but for a real exchange: helping you with your project, being part of your routine, and contributing positively to your environment.
I’m calm, reliable and easy-going. I respect shared spaces, communicate openly, and take responsibility for the tasks I’m given. I enjoy deep conversations as much as quiet evenings, and I try to bring good energy wherever I stay

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience in cooking and farm work, and I am comfortable with physical tasks outdoors as well as organizing and helping in the kitchen. I worked several years as a computer scientist so I am also good with problem solving and learning quickly. I am practical, adaptable and not afraid of hard work. I can help with gardening, basic maintenance, cleaning, preparing meals and any daily tasks that need energy and reliability
