  Description

  Hej! I’ m Gabri, originally from Italy, I ve been living in Sweden for a few years now.
  I have lived most of my life as a nomad, living in many places and always doing adventurous activities including working as a firefighter and guiding dog sleds on week-long safaris.
  
  I finally decided to stay in Sweden with the idea of ​​making my home in a place immersed in nature. So past year I bought a farm on the edge of a small village nestled in the wilderness of Jämtland County, north of Strömsund. I spent the last winter far north working in the wilderness with the sleddogs and now I m back home finally.
  
  Over the summer I plan to bring the property back to life, cleaning up the yard as well as doing some general home improvement work.
  
  However, the house is in good condition and very cozy, with electricity, running water, 2 bathrooms, a shower. And there is also a sauna. There are many bedrooms and you can have your own private space.
  I will install a wifi connection starting in May.
  
  The village is located on the shore of Lake Flåsjön, and is crossed by the famous Vildmarksvägen (the wilderness road) that reaches the mountains on the border with Norway, and then descends again towards Vilhelmina. Nature around the house dominates in every direction. At night sometimes moose come out of the forest and cross the yard. From the backyard an infinite wilderness opens up for dozens of kilometers. Among the most emblematic animals that populate the forests are the lynx, the wolverine and the brown bear.
  You can go freely picking the abundant mushrooms and berries.
  It’s also possible go fishing and ask for a canoe or kayak to rent at the village.
  
  I will often go exploring the area on foot, sometimes spending the night in the forest in a tent or bivouac and you can come with me if you wish. I ll be happy to share my knowledge and experience about the nature around and how to make it on your own in the wilderness. It is a place for nature lovers.
  In the village there are no shops of any kind which are all located in Strömsund, reachable by bus in about 30’ (bus stop 100m from home)
  
  So everyone who wants to get a taste of life in rural Sweden is welcome in the adventurous summer of Jämtland!! 🙂

  share and exchange their life stories and experience with me and other workawayers.
  I will share my knowledge on the forest and wildlife, outdoor and also survival skills if they wish.
  And you will experiment quality time together and enjoy the vibes of nature.

  I m not expecting everybody able to do all the tasks but if you already can manage 3-4 of the tasks above is good 🙂
  You should be able to work both in a team and alone ( of course once I showed how to do the job).
