Description

Hello, we are Josh and Sarah, an adventurous couple originally from the UK. It's safe to say we're beyond passionate about the outdoors, nature, good food, being around people and world cultures. We're both very happy, positive and kind people too, with a real urge to explore.

We're currently on a long-term bike trip, cycling from the UK to India opting for the scenic route as we pedal. Our riding style is to go slow and seek out more natural places. We hope to stop and explore regions along the way and thought Work Away would be a great place to connect with people and places.

When it comes to the outdoors we of course love cycling but also hiking, swimming, camping, climbing, paddling, foraging, and are always open to trying new things.

As much as we love getting sweaty and muddy outside, we also love evenings cooking up some tasty grub, playing the guitar, singing, sharing stories, a good drink, music and chatting.

For work, Josh and I make films about our travels and adventures that we post on YouTube and hope to submit to film festivals. We used to run an ethical outdoors website that we recently sold and are both qualified CELTA ESL teachers, having worked with ages 1 year upwards. I also used to work on a mental health helpline, a role I left when we started this bike trip. So between us, we have a lot of adaptable skills.

We're also both good with our hands having lived in remote places, we're skilled with gardening and growing, wood chopping, DIY and Josh is very knowledgeable when it comes to fixing bikes.

We're very adaptable and open to trying new things, sharing our skills and meeting new people.
