Hello there!👋

My name is Josefin, and I'm a 20 year old engineering student from Sweden. I'd be grateful to join your community, home or journey!✨

About me:
My love for nature is deep and I enjoy hiking, biking, picking wildflowers (for you!🌼). I'm a calm person, that strives to do her best, and likes to do meaningful stuff. I play guitar, sing enjoy painting and LOVE dancing (salsa, bachata, ballet, and many more dance styles). I'm a very happy person when I dance💃😊 Also, not afraid to get muddy! It is only fun :)

Skills & experience :
My previous Workaway experiences have all been different and meaningful in their own way. My tasks have included:
*Gardening, weeding, and harvesting (I’ve dug up lots of potatoes!)
*Cooking and kitchen work
*Farmwork and taking care of animals (chickens, sneaky roosters, sheep and cats).
*Cleaning and fixing things in houses

I’ve also worked as a baker for a few summer weeks, making the bread🍞 and buns for my hometown’s local bakery. I also really enjoy volunteering and organizing scientific and educational events for young people and researchers, such as science camps for high schools students.

What I can share:
I'd love to try and teach you some salsa or bake a classic Swedish fika (along with teaching you some Swedish). Maybe play a song for you on guitar.

Next stops: Perhaps Norway, take a train to Vienna, go hiking in the Scottish Highlands? Or back to my birth country New Zealand (We could share a van! :). Just hit me up with an idea or feel free to come along on my journey!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I speak fluent english and swedish, and know a little bit of german, french and maori (I can introduce myself and talk about the weather😊) . I would gladly teach you some swedish as best I can!

I enjoy being crafty and crochet, such as making macrame plant hangers.

I often help my mum with planting and taking care of the garden, and really enjoy doing that.

I've worked as a baker for two weeks, and made all the bread and buns for the bakery during this time, so I know a bit about baking and making bread. I was also a cashier at times at the bakery.

I can cook fairly well, and learn a lot each time, and can maintain and clean a house!

Back in Sweden I've done a lot of volunteering in different science youth organizations and planned and conducted science camps for high school students.

I have done horse-riding for 8 years, and volunteered as a stable caretaker at my riding school.

I'm quite good at programming as well, and have taken some programming courses.

Otherwise, I'm open to trying new things!
