Les activités qui nous intéressent :

We are looking for a workaway place in Spain during December-January. Jorma can stay for 2-4 weeks, and Pia can stay for 2 weeks.

Hi!
About Jorma:
I’ve recently retired from a long career in construction management, and now I’m happy to spend more time working with my own hands and doing something concrete. I enjoy practical tasks such as small repairs, wood construction, painting, and chopping wood. I’m comfortable using machines and cars, but I have to admit — when it comes to fixing them, I’m not much of a mechanic!

On the other hand, I also do some less tangible work: I’m a psychic healer and enjoy playing my shamanic drum. These activities bring me a deep sense of peace and satisfaction.

When traveling, I love exploring beautiful nature, architecture, and art — but what interests me the most are people. I really enjoy meeting and talking with people from different cultures and backgrounds, learning from their stories and experiences.

I’ve previously been a Workawayer in Finland, where I spent time chopping wood and enjoying the northern winter during my free days. I’d love to continue combining meaningful work, cultural exchange, and time outdoors.

About Pia:
I am working as a therapist in Finland and I am interested for a shorter workaway period than Jorma, my husband. I could stay workawaying for 1-2 weeks. I am interested in gardening, herbs and nature. I can take care for animals or children and do some other all around practical helping tasks, gardening, painting, cleaning etc.

I am also interested doing things with my hands, because it is different from the work I now do. I can for example cut hair or do a massage.

I have experience from finnish ecovillage, where I visited many times and had a chance to work and spend time for short periods. I really like such places.
I like travelling and getting to know new people and places.
