Hello! It's lovely meeting you.

I'm Babet, 21 years young, and I'm a student of both International (Africa) Studies and Philosophy. In my free time, I love talking with people (with a good cup of coffee or delicious meal), bicycle racing, travelling, dancing, reading. And to this list, I can add my sincere attempt at improving my French. ;)

Travelling has always been a way to meet people from different backgrounds, being in nature and visiting new sights for me. But Workaday is something different... And I adore this mode of "travelling". I love staying within a family/community and being able to get an authentic experience from the place I'll be visiting: the people, the work, the food, the surroundings... yes!

I've really enjoyed helping out with various taks at the places I've stayed, which varied from farming activities (which I really love), to teaching English, and using my marketing profession to help out with online visibility. And I'm happy to give you a helping hand with whatever you might need! :)

I'm very fond of learning languages and I'm currently fluent in Dutch and English; I can manage in French and German, and I would particularly love to further develop my French language skills. Also, when possible, I love learning some bits of the local language(s)!
