When I travel in Canada and internationally, it is always the landscape and the community of people that inspires me to reach out to them and see if my skillset can be of service to them. Meeting new people and sharing a part of their experience brings me happiness and joy. If I am travelling by car in Canada or the USA, I always have my climbing gear, bicycle and sketchbook at hand so that I can explore the surrounding area and linger in it while sketching and painting.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a recently retired high school teacher in the arts but as a younger man completed my apprenticeship in carpentry and still enjoy working and building with wood. At my home in Owen Sound I enjoy landscaping, building stone walls and gardening. I still enjoy challenging physical tasks despite being 63 years old.

When I am travelling, I like to stay active by cycling and hiking through the landscape, whether urban or rural. As an artist I focus on my drawing, painting, music and writing when I am away from my home in Ontario, Canada. If there are climbing opportunities available I like to connect with the climbing community and see what's possible. When quiet I am with my books and I read every day.
