Hi,
My name is Johanna. I’m 20 years old, and I’m currently studying Biochemistry in Zürich, Switzerland. I really enjoy reading, cooking, swimming, being in nature, and listening to music. I already have some volunteer experience and am looking forward to meeting new people and experiencing new things while working alongside others I can laugh with and share memories.

I’m someone who is extremely interested in learning about different countries, their cultures, traditions, and daily life. I believe that a big part of understanding these things—and their value to the people—is learning, or at least trying to learn, the language. That’s why I’m open to learning new things and sharing what I know as well as I can. I believe that experiences like this are always about giving and receiving from one another.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m fluent in german ( mother tongue) and english (C2), studied French in Highschool and took two Arabic classes in University. I spend my childhood summers helping out on a French Farm and volunteered on a mountain farm for a month when I was 16. After finishing school I spend a year volunteering in Jordan in a school where I taughed English and german alongside the teachers, and spend the afternoon playing with the Kids and helping with the homework in the Boarding House. In General I have experience with working with children because I grew up with younger siblings and cousins and helped planing and doing summer parties for children and camping trips, when I got to old to go there myself. But I’m always looking forward to learning new things and making new friends.
