Description
I'm a semi-permanent globe trotter, taking a few years off from work - keen to tread lightly on the environment and meet some amazing, like minded individuals.
I hope you'll find me genuine, thoughtful, super-friendly, interesting (and interested/curious) and generally good fun. My hobbies are - ANYTHING outdoors.... camping, hiking, cycling, then when indoors, I love reading, cooking, watching sport with a beer.
Since quitting my job in February 2024, I've walked the length of Spain, Wild camped around Scotland, volunteered through Europe and backpacked South East Asia. -

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
For 12 years I have worked in organic agriculture, working in a few roles but primarily as a National sales manager at a company in the UK called Riverford Organic Farmers. This role required managing a large department, so I genuinely understand the day to day challenges of managing people, and when volunteering I know the importance of hard work, being punctual, flexible and reliable.
I can turn my hand to lots of jobs, but on a practical level I've done lots of manual based jobs, gardening and landscaping, labouring, decorating & general DIY, but I'm a fast learner and keen to support however I can with your projects. -

Thank you again Linde & Said for an unforgettable 12 days. For me it was simple living at its best. Time moves slowly in the desert, I found this to be very relaxing, peaceful and good for the soul.

I stayed at Markus’ beautiful property for 2 months and had a wonderful time. The work was varied, fun and we had a lot of autonomy on how to manage our tasks based on weather priorities etc. I preferred the physical outdoor work so during my stay it was mainly tasks like planting trees, building dead hedges, making compost and other general

Joe looked after Hugo for us and we were really happy with him. Joe is trustworthy, easy going and respectful of the house. He was very flexible with our comings and goings and a great companion and walker for Hugo. They both enjoyed an odd trip to the pub - Hugo's favourite hang-out.

I had a wonderful couple of weeks with Hugo. He is the sweetest of dogs and a joy to look after. Very low maintenance with some nice walks locally and a brilliant pub in the village. Mia & Noel were incredibly flexible and generous with me and it was great to educate them both about the greatest sport in the world... Test match cricket. 😉

Joe was absolutely excellent! He was only with us for a few days to mind our dog, Mabel, while we’re out of town for a weekend, but we’re so happy with our choice! I had an amazing month in Belgrave and (as predicted) am already planning a return trip! Highly recommend anyone looking to be in a great location, surrounded by interesting, fun fuelled people to come and join the team for as long as you can.
