Description
Hello,
I'm Jodie (Hiroka). I'm half Japanese/Taiwanese.
Last year, I came back home to write my Masters (in Environmental Studies and Sustainability Sciences) thesis and got stuck here due to covid. I am looking to find some farming activities and meet new people while I have this time.
I want to gain practical farming experiences because although I'm only 25 now I hope to one day live self-sufficiently on an edible forest garden!
I love to cook, play games, and animals. I have some theoretical knowledge about permaculture, forest gardens, and green roofs (all of which I'd implement on my own farm). I've been a city girl most of my life, but don't let that fool you I'm up for the challenge and always looking for an adventure.

This campsite is very remote and the first couple days there, the two hosted a wedding for some clients for the long weekend. The space is wonderful when it’s sunny especially to slow down. However, when it’s cold, it’s really quite cold (coming for Asia didn’t help) but I … read more
