I'm looking for experiences in agriturisms and farms. I'm really interested in helping gardening, sowing, harvesting, pruning, taking care of animals, and also working with tourism.

Hello workaway community!
My name is Joana, I'm from Brazil, but I like to think of myself as a citizen of the world.
I've lived in the USA, Germany, Italy, and have traveled to many other places — always curious to learn from different cultures and ways of life. Each country I’ve lived in has shaped who I am: open-minded, adaptable, and eager to connect deeply with people and places.
I’m passionate about nature, human connection, and creating meaningful spaces. One of my dreams is to run an agrotourism project in the future, so I’m especially excited about opportunities to learn from people who already have experience in hospitality, farming, or sustainable living.
In my free time, you’ll often find me outdoors — hiking, exploring, doing sports, or just relaxing. When at home, I love reading, cooking, having long conversations or simply enjoying good company.
I’m responsible, respectful, curious, and happy to help however I can. I’m looking forward to exchanging experiences, learning new skills, and contributing with heart wherever I go.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

While in Italy in 2017/2018 I have worked in two agriturisms helping with the nursery, with the vegetable garden, harvesting grapes and pruning olive trees.
I'm very interested in all tasks related to a farm daily life. Taking care of plants and animals, maintaining the house and cooking.
I love cooking for my self and for friends but I would love to develop my cooking ability, learn new recipes and about local food.
I am a sociable and communicative person.
I speak 6 languages, only 3 fluently and would love to practice or use that skill to work with tourism and people.
I learn fast and I am willing to learn new things.

I'm looking for experiences in the country side. I lived most part of my life in big cities and now I would like to be more in contact with nature in a produtive and respectful way. I'm looking for a organic farm or a permaculture. I'm really interested in helping gardening, sowing, harvesting, pruning, taking care of animals... And any other thing that is part of living in a farm.
