Description

I am a cheerful and adaptable person who loves life. I have already spent some time volunteering as a Woofer in Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Bretagne and believe that the experience of skill and idea sharing is absolutely the best! I host Workawayers when I am at home in Cornwall and would now like to have a change of opportunities and participate in the many skills that workaway hosts can offer. I have a lot of experience with farm animals, cattle, sheep, pigs, horses and poultry having been a herdsman and a relief milker in the past and was also an experienced rider although not for some years! I try to live as sustainable lifestyle as possible and have a high regard for the environment, being very concerned about climate change and planet pollution in it's many forms. I travel in a small campervan so accommodationnever needs to be a problem. I enjoy the outdoors whenever possible and look forward to becoming even more involved with this wonderful, shared cultural community, exchanging and sharing skills and ideas.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have worked on different farms with many different animals, cows, sheep, goats, horses, poultry and even volunteered on a monkey sanctuary in Cornwall. I am a keen gardener with vegetables, fruits, flowers and wild gardens and I am happy to contribute to anything needed but not really heavy work. I am happy to learn skills in eco-building and any creative projects and generally do whatever is needed!

I enjoy music of most genres, folk music being my main focus. I enjoy dancing, playing banjo and mandolin at music sessions in local pubs etc.
I like most board games, but don't have too much opportunity to play!
I like to paint but the finished article is only for my own enjoyment of the moment
