Hi, my name is Jente. I love to travel and to connect with the local people. I want to explore the world and the different cultures. I love slow traveling so you get to know a place and the people better! As I'm a social worker, I have a passion for working with people. I am adventurous, open minded and patient. I would love to do some volunteering where I get in touch with the locals and I can do something back for them. Hopefully see you soon!

I am a social worker and worked with unaccompanied minor refugees in Belgium. My clients told me I am patient, flexible and able to give people the space to grow on their own pace but next to them to support them. I'm not afraid to step out of my comfort zone and try new things.

Jente was with us for a week and it was great :) we went to some places and she won a 40 tournament, it was fun. I recommend working with Jente, she’s always fun to be around.

Karen is a lovely host! She welcomed me with open arms. She is easygoing and super funny. The communication was really good and quickly. Although she was busy, she tried to involve me in a lot of things. We shared meals, played games and spended some time together in the weekend.

Jente was an amazing volunteer! She did everything very good and had a lot of initiative. She was great with our kids also and we would say she was one of our best volunteers ever! We can recommend her to very place wherever in the world she will go! Thanks Jente! Lots of huggs from the Hostel Family

My first workaway experience in a hostel and it couldn't have been better! Jolanda, Nout, and the kids welcomed me with open arms into their beautiful hostel. I worked 3 hours a day and had 1 day off a week. Cleaning, working in the garden and checking in guests. The hostel has a bar that is open on weekends, which made for some fun evenings. … read more

Verónica is a lovely host, she's so sweet! I felt so welcome from the first moment. She gave me a lot of recommendations for things to do/eat around the city and always made sure I was okay. You have everything you need in the apartment, good kitchen!
