Hello everyone,
my name is Jenny.

I am a solo traveler from Germany.
At the moment I live in Florence to study the Italian language.
As of mid March I am looking for a place to work, meet new people and experience a new place. ✨

Having worked in a hospital for the past 7 years, I really enjoy the freedom that travel gives me at the moment. Workaway is a good opportunity for me to stay abroad a little longer, gain new experiences and make new friends all over the world 🌎

I‘m an open-minded, friendly and if you get to know me better, also a funny person 😉🦦

In my free time I enjoy reading books, writing my own stories, love to play board games and listening to music most of the day if I can (but don‘t worry, I’ll be careful not to disturb anyone) 🤗
I’m always happy about new music suggestions!
I also played the piano for many years, but I really don’t have any training at the moment. I like exploring new places and learning new things. I started learning some new recipes in Italy and am hoping to expand my cooking skills in the meantime.

I have worked with children of all ages throughout my career. I liked working with the younger generation the most because they have a completely different view oft the world.

Next year I plan to study something new. That’s why I want to make the best possible use of this year with traveling and exploring. 🌿

I am currently attending a language school to learn Italian. I want to practice my Italian and take it to the next level. If you're interested in learning German, I'd be happy to teach you a few new words! I also studied English in Galway for three months and worked in a hospital in Ireland for two months. It helps me a lot because English gives me the opportunity to talk to people from different cultures.🇩🇪🇬🇧🇮🇹

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I acquired many of my skills during my time as a pediatric nurse in a hospital (and later also in a psychiatric ward).
I have worked with different groups of people, children of all ages, helping them get through a difficult time in their lives. I am a good listener, can handle hard work and unusual hours and am not afraid of a challenge. I'm also a good team player 😊
I'm a creative person, I used to play the piano and I grew up in a creative environment - my mother loves art and making art, so I've always been in touch with colors and new ideas. ✨
I love animals: I grew up with a dog, a hamster, mice, cats and fish at home.🐶❤️ I enjoy taking care of them and I am also willing to expand my knowledge.
I enjoy being in nature, unfortunately I've never had the opportunity to work in a garden. If you need this kind of help, I'm willing to learn and will always try my best! 🌿
