Description

Hi! We’re Jelmer and Jenny, a couple from the Netherlands who love spending our time outdoors, enjoying life, and making new friends. :)

We’re both active, positive people who enjoy getting our hands dirty and staying busy. Nature has always been a big part of our lives, both professionally and personally. Jelmer works as a landscaper and is very practical. He has experience with all kinds of gardening and landscaping work and is confident using both hand tools and larger landscaping machinery. Jenny works in animal welfare and has experience caring for horses, cats, dogs, and farm animals. She also enjoys helping Jelmer with landscaping projects whenever she gets the chance.

At home, we have chickens and a cat, and we love spending time in our flower and vegetable garden. Another big passion of ours is trail running, this is something we do together as well as seperately.

We enjoy good conversations, delicious food, meeting new people, and sharing experiences. We believe life doesn’t have to be complicated to be enjoyable, and we truly appreciate the simple things.

We’re excited to connect with welcoming hosts, learn new skills, and lend a helping hand wherever it’s needed. Whether it’s gardening, caring for animals, DIY projects, or general maintenance, we’re hardworking, reliable, and always happy to pitch in. We’re curious, eager to learn, not afraid of hard work, and looking forward to creating great memories together through Workaway!
