I'm interested in getting to know new people, rock climbing, hiking, camping, and generally just seeing what the world and the people in it have to offer me and what I have to offer them.

Description

Hi! I'm from Idaho, United States, where I grew up and attended three years of college before I came to the realization that I wanted to travel and experience more of the world while I am still young and able-bodied. I find joy when I am active, social, and in the outdoors. I love to hike, swim, paddle board, rock climb, and play some sports. I have a passion for learning new things whether that be a new language, about a culture, new sport or game, or new skills in general.

I have lots of experience on teams and in leadership, I was on my high school cheerleading, color guard, and rugby teams. And was the captain of my color guard team for two consecutive years. When I came to college, I joined our rock climbing club and rugby team and quickly worked my way to president of the rugby team. I served as the President for two years, and loved every second. During my time in leadership positions on my teams, I loved the ability to guide my team in the right direction, and loved getting to see my teams apply and succeed at the things we would work on in our practices.

Over my third year in college I had the opportunity to work in my schools Women's Center, where we promoted and advocated for gender equity on campus and in the community. I was able to table for our center to promote and share who we were and what we do for the students and staff at the University.

I have worked in an Assisted Living Facility for the elderly, most of my time in this job was spent in the Enhanced Care Unit and Memory Care Unit. I learned so much from this job and have gained so much patients and respect for the elderly. I enjoyed when I had a chance to sit and spend genuine time with our residents. I would work on word searches, lead and play BINGO, lead morning stretches, or often times just sit and have a coffee and talk with them.

I have experience working in customer service, in a memory care unit at an assisted living facility, experience working with children, manual labor, and team oriented jobs.

Autres infos...

During my time in college, I studied Sociology and Women's Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and attended for three years. I played rugby and was the president of my team, and was in my schools rock climbing club. I am so excited to get out and to travel and experience more of the world.
