Hello, All.

I am from the UK and have just turned 30 years old.

I have been in Australia since August 2022, and have had such an incredible 14 months thus far.

I flew to Perth and stayed with a wonderful couple through Work Away for three weeks. After this, I managed to find myself a job in Margaret River in a restaurant and worked there for six months.

I had to do my 88 days for my visa, so I travelled up north to Darwin. I stayed with another lovely lady through work away for two weeks, then found myself a job in a town called Adelaide River (one hour south of Darwin) and I have been here since mid-March working in a busy pub.

I have a flight booked to Sydney on Thursday 26th October, I will stay in a hotel for a night to get over any jet lag. Then I will be free from Friday 27th October to join up with people to help them with their next project.

This can be in the Sydney area, or it could be anywhere in NSW. I am genuinely an open book. I do not have a car, but if there is a will there is a way.

Firstly, I think Workaway is such a genius idea to integrate into a new place. You learn directly from the locals about the place, about the history, the cool spots, the culture and much more.

Meeting people and making connections is the most important part of travelling. I have been in a small town for the last six months with basically nothing here. What has kept me here is the wonderful company I have kept. I have learned so much from meeting people and hearing their stories. I just love it!

For most of my career, I have worked in Sales, recruitment, and customer service. I have some experience in gardening and painting. I can learn pretty fast, if you teach me to do something I am happy to learn (in fact I love to learn new skills)

I am happy to help out in any way you can, lifting things around the house, renovating, whatever it is -let's get this done together!

My interests are history, wildlife, football, mixed martial arts, geography, music, scenery, travel, philosophy, and cooking and I am looking to learn much more about life. Like I said, I am inquisitive to learn.

I am looking at being with the next project for a minimum of two weeks, and a maximum of one month (more if you need my help).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Predominately, my experience is direct selling and recruitment. I have also worked in a Hotel as a receptionist. Working with computers and learning various systems in my career means I could help out people a little with basic computer needs if required.

I am not sure any of this experience will benefit you, however - I have a little bit of experience in labouring, painting, cleaning and removing stuff out of places, a touch of gardening and just general maintenance.

I am happy to also be shown how to do something and will do anything that is needed, even if it is not noted in the description.

One thing I will say is that I always put my all into anything that I do, I will never do a job half assed - I always do anything to the best of my ability.

I am flexible with whatever your needs are.
