Hello!

We are Jeanne and Jean, a French couple of teachers.
I, Jeanne, am a primary school teacher, and my fiancé Jean is a middle school biology (science) teacher.

This summer, we would love to spend about one month abroad, roughly between July 15th and August 15th, to discover a new country, experience its culture, and meet new people.
As teachers, we will also be very happy to share our skills and help wherever we can, especially in educational o projects.

We are highly motivated, open-minded, and enthusiastic about learning from others.
We also have previous experience abroad: two years ago, we volunteered in a school in Kathmandu, Nepal, and it was a wonderful and enriching experience.

As French teachers, we are especially interested in teaching French and sharing our language and culture with others. We are also very motivated to continue improving our English skills. We already have a good level of English: Jeanne spent four months in Dublin as part of an Erasmus program, and our volunteering experience in Nepal also helped us use English in real-life situations. Additionally, we would love to revive and practice our Spanish. We both studied it in school (middle and high school), but since we use it less frequently, we would be thrilled to have the opportunity to continue learning Spanish while abroad. We try to practice a bit every day, for example with TV series, but being immersed in a Spanish-speaking environment would be amazing. We are enthusiastic, curious, and eager to both teach and learn languages while engaging with the local community.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are both trained, qualified teachers with solid experience in education.
• Jeanne is a certified primary school teacher and has taught children aged 3 to 11.
• Jean is a certified middle school science/biology teacher and has worked with students aged 11 to 15.

Together, we have experience teaching at various levels, adapting to different ages, needs, and learning styles. We are patient, creative, and used to working with groups as well as supporting individual learners.

Beyond school teaching, we also have strong experience in youth work and group activities:
• We have worked in holiday camps.
• We have organized and supervised activities for children and teenagers.
• We regularly help run trips and stays for people with disabilities, developing empathy, adaptability, and a strong sense of responsibility.

We also have international volunteering experience: two years ago, we spent time teaching in a school in Kathmandu, Nepal. This experience strengthened our motivation to work abroad, discover new cultures, and contribute to meaningful community projects.

We are reliable, motivated, and always happy to bring our teaching skills, creativity, and enthusiasm to any project that needs support.

Jean has a strong interest in nature and science. He is also musical and plays guitar, piano, and drums.

Jeanne enjoys running, staying active, discovering new things, and learning about languages and cultures.

We both love traveling, meeting people, and immersing ourselves in new experiences.
