Hello, my name is Jade and I want to volunteer because I’m shifting my career towards environmental work, and I’m hoping to gain a lot of hands-on experience.

I am passionate about Nature and the outdoors! I grew up on the west coast of France, in Normandy, so I feel very connected to northern landscapes. I love the sea, cliffs, hills and mountains....Which is why I would love to volunteer in the North of Europe: especially the Nordics and the UK.

I have an artistic and design background so I am very creative, resourceful and good with my hands. I'm very social: I love to meet people, learn, and make new friends!

I'm tired of sitting behind a screen, I want to do something real with my life: contribute to protecting our planet, learn useful skills, and be part of meaningful projects.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

First of all, I’m hoping to bring to volunteering and stays a lot of energy, willpower, and motivation.

I have a positive, can-do attitude, and I’m quite resourceful. Thanks to my design background, I’m used to solving problems creatively, collaborating in a team, and working with my hands.

I’m also a seasoned hiker and all-round adventurer. I’ve been on multi-day hiking and camping trips, done solo bike-packing, and I’m very active in general. Therefore, I’m not afraid of a physical challenge and I truly enjoy being outdoors in all weathers and seasons

I also wish to bring some experience from volunteering in a variety of social and sustainable projects.

I have experience running activities with adults, children, elderly and people with disabilities, in the context of charity events or school days.

I can do woodwork, paint and draw / garden, plant, and farm (small farming skills such as harvesting, preparing soil, etc) / Interior design, DIY / cook and do preserves....

I am open to learn to work with animals, but don't have much experience with them...
