Hi, I'm travelling from London, England and would like to try workaway for the first time!

I'm exploring Indonesia alone and looking do something more meaningful and responsible with my time traveling, whether it be helping people or the environment.

I am also eager to learn more about the cultures and local customs through being involved with volunteering schemes and living in local communities.

I've previously worked in the UK healthcare services and find myself both satisfied and driven by honest, practical and positively impactful work.

I really want to leave my comfort zone and try something new and exciting in order to learn more about the person I would like to be. I would like to end my trip feeling satisfied that I have given back as a tourist and hopefully inspired by the work opportunities.

I'm very interested in teaching English as work experience. I'm a fluent and clearly spoken in English . Although I have no experience with teaching I would love to be involved in cultural exchange and use my expertise to help others learn my language.

I'm ready to get stuck in and try new types of work.

I have been educated in the UK and attended University to study the science of Pharmacology. My stregnths are science, maths but I also have passions for Art, Geography and History.

I have previously worked for 2.5 years in the UK healthcare service in both administrative and clinical positions.
I worked in administrative services for 2 years reaching out to patients to invite them for necessary health checks, and for 1 year trained and worked to provide blood tests and other basic health checks for patients.

I believe I am very suited to working for social organisations. I enjoy working with and helping people and have experience providing services for people of all ages and a variety of backgrounds.

I have a professional manner and speak English as my first language. I am well trained to communicate with different types of people and have often been praised for my patience, positivity and friendly attitude.

My other work experience has been mainly short-term jobs in hospitality industries (kitchen and service work) as well as basic construction/deconstruction jobs for my father's building business.

I really enjoy work that requires a sustained level of activity, mental stimulation and I feel confident working both in teams or on my own.
