Description

Hello there! My name is Iacoba and I will be travelling to South America in March. I quit my job (occupational therapist) to take a sabbatical and be useful somewhere else. My skills are of a handy nature, I am used to making pottery or sewing or anything else that involves the creation with hands. But I have also worked in gardens, in kitchens, and especially with humans a ton. I'm a huge fan of the latter and like to be surrounded by a community.
For now, I am looking for a place to work and be in close proximity to gorgeous nature. If you have a place for me, I will be very happy to give you a helping hand :)

I speak fluently English and German, and starting to understand Spanish (will somehow learn spanish in a course when in South Smerica)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Right now I work in a type of therapy (called work therapy in my country), where my clients (who suffer from depression, addiction etc) create things with me to take a part in society, come into contact with each other and, in the end, find a way to slowly get better. With other people, I like to solve problems. In the past i have been working on farms a lot - so i know my way around planting, deweeding and harvesting. i also have a hand and a heart for any kind of animals. so except for construction work (and even that i have done) i think i have worked in most fields a farm can offer :)
