Description

Hello I'm Harry a 28 year old who has decided to get out and see the world after a few years of work. I'm a big enjoyer of the outdoors and sports particularly running and hiking. Hoping to explore New Zealand for the next year and meet some great people along the way. I've done a fair bit of work in allotments, and gardens and am a decent cook. Also quite open to learning new skills and helping out however I can.

I'm a keen runner and enjoy getting outside. I've always enjoyed camping and hiking, anything in the outdoors. In free time I also read a lot and enjoy learning about the world and history. I also play field hockey however taking a little break from this during my travels

I had a fantastic week with Alistair and Karin on my way South. They provided good accommodation, amazing food and lots of inspiration for my travels. Harry was a wonderful guy, he helped with many jobs, including sanding & staining outdoor furniture, splitting kindling and many different gardening jobs.
He was polite, friendly and easy going and we enjoyed sharing our evening meals with him.

We wish him all the best on his travels and we highly recommend him to others in need of a hard worker.

I had a great week staying at Zoe and Ryan's. The work was varied and I was trusted to work independently and to suit my own schedule. The food was excellent and this was a very cosy place to be in Winter. I also got some great tips for local hiking options and the Tongariro crossing. Would definitely stay again!

Harry was simply charming! Not only that but he was a great worker too - varnishing chairs, using the weed whacker, weeding the tomatoes. Everything he did was done with a smile and with care. We truly hope to see him again and to again sample his wonderful Welsh Cakes that he made for us!

I had a fantastic first workaway experience staying with Theo and Doug. They were very welcoming and generous and had lots of interesting advice on trips and things to do locally. The work was fair, interesting and varied and allowed plenty of free time. I stayed over Easter and was made welcome with an excellent meal and many treats.
