Description

Hi, we’re Hannah and Theo — a couple from rural South Wales, UK, aged 28 and 29.
After several years working full-time since university, we’ve decided to take a step back and spend some time exploring the world through more hands-on, meaningful experiences. We are currently making our way through the Balkans.
We’re practical and reliable, and always ready to get involved and help where it’s needed. We're passionate about sustainable living and conservation, and we love spending time outdoors — whatever the weather! We're also keen to keep learning and developing new skills along the way.

We’re also easy to get along with, open-minded, and looking forward to meeting new people and contributing to interesting projects.
Between us we have a range of experience and skills, and a keen drive to learn. We are new to Workaway but have many friends who have shared wonderful experiences with it and we are excited to get involved.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Skills Hannah can offer:
I have been working and volunteering in the conservation sector for the last 10 years. I have a fairly wide range of land-based skills and experience. I also have a degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, and strong practical knowledge of working in different habitats.
I hold a chainsaw licence and have experience operating a variety of tools, vehicles and machinery, including tractors. I’m confident with fencing, habitat creation, and general habitat management tasks. I also have some experience working with livestock.
Nature has always been a huge part of who I am. After working in the conservation sector for the last few years, I’m ready to expand that connection in new ways. I’m hoping to build new skills and knowledge and to connect with people who live closely with the land, share a passion for sustainability, and live a slower, more intentional way of life.

Skills Theo can offer:
I’m a friendly, adaptable person with 5 years’ experience in professional kitchens – confident with cooking, prep, and helping out in any food-related tasks. I also have 4 years’ experience in digital marketing, so I’m happy to support with social media, content creation, or anything online. I've volunteered on a vineyard, love learning new skills, and enjoy being part of a team and I’m always open to new experiences. Though I don’t have the same experience as Hannah in the conservation sector I share her passion for sustainability and connecting with nature, and have a willingness to learn and help out anywhere I can.
