Hello everyone,
I’m Hannah, 28 years old and from Germany. I grew up in the beautiful countryside of south Germany in a 100 inhabitants village. After school I’ve been working and studying in Ireland, Norway and in north, east and south Germany. Besides that I have travelled through Europe with my family in an old VW camper van where I have discovered the love for traveling and especially for simple and outdoor living. Since I grew up on a farm in the middle of nowhere but also lived in cities like Munich and Berlin, I love both: nature and city life, calm and lonely places as well as hectic, crowded places.
I just finished my masters in communication and want to work in the non-profit sector after my travels, preferably in the humanitarian aid. In the last years, I volunteered in different places and worked with refugees and kids but also in a political organization. I not only love being around people but also do I love working with people. Besides that, I would love to gain more experience in gardening and other work in the nature or other work outdoor.
I am a very easy-going, open-minded, adaptive, communicative, active, stress resistant hands-on person. I have a huge interest in languages and cultures, people, photography, doing and listening to (live) music, architecture and plants.
I am looking for a travel partner but also for volunteering and maybe a combination. I will be traveling through Colombia from beginning of February until end of March.

I love learning new languages and for me part of getting to know a new country and its culture and people and therefore part of traveling is learning their language or at least trying to get to know it a bit. As I will be traveling through South America I want to become better in Spanish to be able to communicate with the locals and other Spanish speaking people I get to know.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

After school I've been working as an au pair, I also have been working in a refugee home and in schools with children as well as babysitted in the last years. I love working with people and especially with children and would love to do so in Colombia.
Due to my studies/jobs I have a lot of experience and knowledge in marketing, public relations and social media. But in contrary - or also because of that - I also love very much working with my hands and outdoor, far away from a laptop or phone.
As I grew up in a small village on a farm and have travelled 18 years in a bus, I love being in the nature and do outdoor activities/work. Therefore, I am very keen on gaining more experience in gardening, permaculture and other house/outdoor work.
I am a creative, communicative and social person who is very flexible, open towards new people and situations and keen on getting to know new cultures, languages and to gain (practical) experience in anything new I don't know yet.
