Hi This is Halina! I am a graduate student who is about to graduate this May and start working as an Occupational Therapist next year! I finally have a whole summer free and am motivated to learn more about how life outside the Midwest is. I have always loved nature, and after a recent trip to Colorado want more! Other than that, I have been an avid sewer for a long time now, even finding a way to work that into my occupational therapy degree. If you need any adaptive clothing recommendations, I can help!! I recently have picked up rock climbing and have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and community! Ultimately I am excited to gain new experiences, try out new things, and learn from those around me!

Hi this is about Julia. I currently am a pediatric occupational therapist working in early intervention and I love what I do! In my work life I get to learn a lot about family dynamics and culture and want to pursue that more with the workaday experiences! In my free time I love a good coffee shop and going to concerts. Ive got an eye for detail and love to do art/craft projects, puzzles with my mom, cooking a new recipe, and exploring local resturaunts and breweries. To stay active I go to the gym, take nature walks, and have recently taken up barre.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

From Julia and Halinka (friends from home!) We both work in the occupational therapy field, helping people gain independence in their daily lives. We’re both very creative and crafty people who aren’t afraid to work hard or get a little messy. We enjoy gardening and are comfortable with hands on, physical work, we lift people for a living! We love being outdoors, especially hiking and spending time in nature. We’re excited to meet new people, learn new skills, and have create new experiences along the way. Halinka has experience with mending, sewing, and clothing alterations and she speaks Polish. Julia is from a family that loves taking on big projects and has helped build things like a raised fenced in garden.
