Description

Hi! I’m from Denmark and currently taking a gap year. I love meeting new people, traveling, and learning languages; all reasons to why I wanted to do Workaway. I’m adventurous, social, and enjoy experiencing new cultures, and i consider myself independent and always happy to help wherever I can.

In my free time, I enjoy climbing, cooking, and love trying new experiences. I am also interested in philosophy, architecture and wine. Due to my experience in wine and food, I decided to become a server. I’m therefore comfortable helping with service and love interacting with guests and people in general.

I know a little Spanish and would love to improve it!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have solid experience in hospitality, having worked as a server, including at a Michelin restaurant. This has given me strong skills such as attention to detail, and providing excellent service to guests.

During my own time, I have done different DIY projects. Therefore i am practical and comfortable with hands on tasks to a certain degree. I have experience with basic maintenance, painting, and smaller building projects (beehives, greenhouse), so I am confident using tools when needed.

I also love taking care of animals, including cats and bees, and I am familiar with looking after pets. I have a Gymnasie STX diploma (danish high school, prepares for university) studying math and design on a high level. I also have Cambridge English C1, and a WSET Level 2 in wines certification.

I am reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic, eager to contribute wherever I can to help the team and support guests.

I have a cat and keep bees, so I am comfortable caring for animals. I also enjoy gardening and practical outdoor tasks. In my free time, I also love reading and discussing literary works.
