Description
in december of 2022, i received funding for a project i created: studying sustainability in scandinavia. i was in copenhagen, denmark; visby, sweden; and stockholm, sweden. i interacted with people who are tackling the climate crisis on different levels, who have different theories of change, who have different perspectives. from walking the streets of a climate resilient neighbor in copenhagen to staying at an ecovillage, i learned a lot about how communities are coming together to mitigate the climate crisis.
on my workaway visits, i hope to learn more about permaculture and sustainable eating while being immersed in your culture!
i am interested in the discipline of sociology and anthropolgy! i want to have a better understanding of our societies and cultures in our globalized world. -
