Hello everyone,
we are Piero and Giulia, a bubbly and enthusiastic couple of Astronomers from Italy. We just finished our Phd in Astrophysics and we want to take the chance to embark on colorful and meaningful experiences.
We like to travel in a way that encourage ourselves to immerse deeply in the essence of a place, embracing its culture, and making important connections with the people who call it home.
Piero is passionate about teaching and culinary exploration. Enjoys strategic games like chess, creative pursuits such as role-playing and storytelling, and maintains an active lifestyle through fitness and outdoor adventures. Avid reader with a love for continuous learning.
Giulia really likes baking sweets, photography (especially during dusk time), graphics, listening to podcasts, dancing, practicing yoga (even if the performance is not so brilliant, but more like a happy tree trunk trying to move its branches) and listening to people.
We are both lover of being immersed in nature, dedicating ouselves frequently to camping and trekking, with a commitment to animal welfare and environmental conservation.
We always eager to learn more and share our excitement with the world!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are both fluent in Italian and English, in both speaking and writing.
We have a Phd in Astrophysics, so we are expert in math, physics, programming, public speaking, scheduling and teaching. With our scientific background, we gained critical thinking and problem solving skills. With our scientific and teaching background, we bring effective teamwork, adept time management, and the ability to work under pressure.

Piero, with his teaching experiences, have honed ability to develop educational programs and materials tailored to a diverse group of 20 students ranging from 18 to 50+ years old, all while utilizing strong communication skills vital for fostering a collaborative and feedback-oriented learning environment. Additionally, Piero have been preparing meals for himself, his family, and friends since the age of 15, showcasing his passion and skills for cooking. Piero have also assisted in different manual work at his family's upholstery business.

Giulia worked several months in one of the main university canteen of her city, dealing with the cafeteria and with the collection and cleaning of dishes and pots with very strict times given the large turnout of people. Moreover, she worked in two different front offices, welcoming people and giving instructions, and in two different public services, managing and reorganizing archives (database, mailing lists), translating documents from English to Italian, processing data related to questionnaires in Excel and making supporting activities to the secretariat.

Together we helped in the organization and logistics of intergenerational 100+ people events, creating graphics, providing merchandising, creating playlists, welcoming guests and helping with the locations set up.
