Heyy!

My name is Giada, I’m 20 year old girl from Germany.

Over the past few years, I’ve been traveling around the world (something that means a lot to me). I love meeting new people, discovering different cultures, traditions, foods, and lifestyles, and truly experiencing every moment. I’m open-minded, social, helpful, and communicative, and I’m also very curious about learning new things and developing new skills. That’s exactly what I love about the idea of Workaway: getting to know inspiring people and genuinely learning about new traditions and ways of living.

In October 2025, I started studying social work in Germany. However, traveling is still a very important part of my life, and I would love to continue exploring different countries during my holidays.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends—whether that’s chatting, playing games, or going for walks. In general, I’m very interested in nature, sports, animals, and hiking, but I’m also passionate about creative and spiritual activities, as well as reading, music, and cooking.

I’d love to get to know you better and hopefully build some meaningful connections!

I'm really interested in languages, that's why I would love to learn as many of them as possible :)) Especially because it's a way to get to know new people, and to learn about different cultures. Furthermore, I already speak German, English in a really good level and I know Italian, French and Spanish. I am open-minded to improve my language skills as well as teaching them to others.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Through my years of traveling, I’ve gained experience staying in hostels, doing workaway, and connecting with people from all over the world. I’m a very communicative person and I truly enjoy working with people, which is why I study social work. I have worked at holiday camps, with children, in a retirement home and I’ve also gained experience working with people with disabilities.

Additionally, I enjoy cooking and am used to do household chores, so I’m happy to help independently wherever support is needed. However, I’m very adaptable and always curious to learn new things.

I love nature, hiking, and sports and I played volleyball for several years. Spending time with family and friends is very important to me and is a big part of my life. Nevertheless, I also enjoy spending time on my own, for example reading, cooking, or doing creative activities such as making bracelets, crocheting, embroidering and more.

Furthermore, I have work experience in retail and in a restaurant. I’m also passionate about learning languages. I studied English for eight years, French for seven years, and Spanish for five years in school and university, and I can speak Italian thanks to my Italian family.
