Hello everyone :)
My name is Gaia and I come from Italy 🇮🇹
I’m an open-minded, positive and curious person who loves connecting with people and discovering new ways of living around the world.

I have a strong passion for travel and cultural exchange. I’ve spent more than four months traveling across Southeast Asia, an experience that deeply enriched me both personally and culturally. During this time, I also had my first Workaway experience in Cambodia, which allowed me to better understand the spirit of volunteering, cultural exchange, and daily life within a local community.

I’m very passionate about diving. I’ve done many dives in different places around the world and I toke a certified Scuba Divemaster. I love the ocean and marine life, and I would really like to deepen my knowledge of freediving in the future.

Although I haven’t done many volunteering experiences yet, I see this as a great motivation to start, challenge myself, and grow through new opportunities. I’m very willing to learn, help where needed, and put my energy into meaningful projects.

I love being in contact with nature and animals, and I really enjoy manual work. I’m interested in learning more practical skills, working with my hands, and living in environments connected to nature. I appreciate a simple lifestyle and value meaningful experiences over material things.

I enjoy learning new languages, improving my English, and sharing experiences with locals and other travelers. I’m responsible, flexible, and motivated, and I adapt easily to new environments. I’m a sunny, positive person with a strong desire to connect with others and be part of a team.

I see Workaway as a beautiful opportunity for cultural exchange, mutual support, and personal growth. I’m excited to meet new people, learn from you, and share my energy, enthusiasm, and kindness during my stay. ☀️

Hi!!! My name is Gaia, I'm 26 years old, I'm Italian and I currently live in Italy.

Seems like a trivial phrase, I wake up in the morning and my desire is to leave and go far, anywhere in the world, where my heart takes me. Why not start???

I love to travel, learn about new cultures and places, enter in the local culture and became part of it.
learn new things and always get involved.

I have made many trip alone, I love doing it, you are never alone, meeting new people and creating bonds is a beautiful thing.

I've sunny girl, I want to discover the world and travel.

Now I'm trying to tell myself.

My current and main job is the educator.

I have so many passions, I love water, I do all kinds of water sports: windsurfing, surfing, diving, free diving.

I am a scuba diving teacher, I took the certifications in the beautiful sea of ​​Sardinia in Italy. I've been away for three month.
I've a lifesaving certificate and swimming instructor, I've always worked in the pool to pay for my studies.

I also really like the mountains, I do long trekking, not only that, with my Mtb I go all over the place.

I love the wild life, you can also live with little if you're happy in the place where you are.

I love to eat well (even vegan and vegetarian food) and have a healthy lifestyle.
