Hello! I'm Gabby! I love to meet new people, explore and learn about new cultures, and live as passionately as possible. I'm writing a travel memoir currently about the United States and I love creative projects. I just finished with my final semester of school in Bhutan, and decided to stay in asia for a while! I studied psychology/mental health and environmental science). I am looking to travel in a way that allows cultural exchange, helping others, and getting to know each other and connect. I also am using workaway as a means of energy exchange; it helps me travel affordably and allows us to exchange something much for valuable than money. I'm excited to continue to step out of my comfort zone and connect with communities, wildlife, nature, cultures, and myself in my upcoming endeavors.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My biggest skills are leadership, creativity, positivity, willingness to learn and open-mindedness. I am a good writer and photographer and I am fluent in English and proficient in Spanish. I have a lot of experience volunteering in different capacities (tutoring students, environmental volunteer work like park/trail clean-ups, and raising money for different organizations) and working with kids. I love children and animals and have been in numerous situations that have required flexibility and patience, which I have handled accordingly. I additionally have some travel experience, so I am very aware of cultural differences, language barriers, and safety precautions (plus the need for compassion!!) across cultures.

I love to play games, hike, be outside, and am very passionate about health and having a healthy lifestyle. I like to mindful of my body by being active when I can and eating healthy foods (lots of fruits and veggies!). I also care about mental health and have experience being a support for people and wanting to foster happiness (for myself and others), and I care about spiritual health (I like to meditate and I do reiki/ energy healing work when I can). Everything is connected!
