Hi, I'm Freya.

I'm a university student from Denmark, but currently i'm on leave to travel arround:)

I'm very interested in agroecology and want to gain more knowledge about sustainable farming methods and alternative food systems. I find that you learn the most when you travel to see how people live and work sustainably every day, and that's really one of the main reasons why I want to travel with workaway.

Furthermore I also love meeting new people, learn about other cultures and different ways of life. I believe I am a very open and empathic person, and i love discussing different topics and talking to others. But I do also respect boundaries and can easily be on my own.
In Denmark I do a lot of climate activism and I would therefore love to help with sustainable projects. Because of the climate crisis and animal welfare I am vegan and eat plant-based. If you are interested in learning how to cook vegan or danish food, I could teach you that. I of course would also love to learn how to make traditional food from my hosts countries!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm fluent in Danish, English and almost in German.
I'm very educated in music and different instruments. I play the clarinet and piano.
I'm good at cooking and would be able to learn my hosts how to make traditional danish foods, but also vegan food.
I'm have experience working in a garden, and I can also help with physical tasks
