Description

Hey, my name is Frederike and I am 25 years old and from northern Germany. I am currently studying to become a teacher. Besides my studies I love to spend time with my friends (luckily we live really close to the beach, so that is always an option for the evening), making music or trying some new recipes. I have always enjoyed travelling, meeting people and learning about new cultures.
I was very fortunate to explore new countries the last years and I met really cool and inspiring people. Usually, I pair up with some friends to travel around, but this year I would like to spend some time gaining new experiences and I thought workaway would be an awesome opportunity to do that. I am open to all kinds of work as I am happy to get to know new humans as well as animals. :)
This would be my first time travelling with workaway, but not my first time travelling alone. I really enjoy working in a team: I have work experience in baby-sitting, dog-sitting, as a bartender and a teacher. I think my friends would describe me as a happy/joyful person and a good listener.
I am looking forward to this years travels and to (hopefully) meeting you.

Since I am studying English I am always interested in learning new sayings or new accents. I would say that I am fluent in English, however there is always something new to learn. My native language is German and if anybody wants to learn the basics I would love to teach you. Maybe you already now a bit of German and we can keep practicing. Recently I started to learn Italian and I think it's a beautiful language. I would like to learn more or maybe just try and speak once in a while to train my vocabulary.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

In general I would say I am open to all kinds of work whether that may be help around the house or animal care or working in a hostel.
I am experienced in working with young children and teenagers and I really enjoy spending time with them. I also like to work with animals and I have experience in dog-sitting (also cat-sitting but in fairness, the cats I looked after were really low maintenance :D )
I would say I am well structured, but also spontanious if I have to be and I don't start to panic if things don't go according to plan. Most of my work experience was gathered while working in a team and I enjoy that a lot, but I am also able to work independantly.
