Hello! I’m Fredo from Cologne, Germany.
I’m a passionate seeker of new experiences—whether through sports, cultural exchange, or collaborative projects. My personal motto is: “You only get rewarded for taking at least small risks.” This mindset constantly inspires me to learn new things and take an active role in shaping my environment.
In my free time, I regularly engage in weight training, swimming, and cycling. I also enjoy spending time with friends—often bringing energy and motivation into every group I’m part of. My friends would describe me as highly motivated, passionate about what I do, and a driving force who inspires others with his ideas.

Why I want to travel:
My Master's program in Risk & Insurance at TH Köln requires me to complete a two-month placement abroad, and I’ve decided to use this opportunity to discover new countries and cultures. I want to step out of my comfort zone, immerse myself in different ways of life, and actively support local projects.

I’m excited about the opportunity to contribute as a dedicated and open-minded team player to your project.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a trained insurance specialist with a Bachelor's degree in Risk and Insurance and currently pursuing my Master's in the same field. Alongside my studies, I actively engage in university life as a volunteer member of the student council.

I have solid knowledge in risk management, process optimization, and insurance. I am fluent in both German and English and pride myself on being a critical thinker who brings intuitive ideas and practical solutions to the table.

In addition, I am highly proficient with programms like Word, Excel and capable of creating clear and convincing presentations. I’m well-organized, enjoy motivating and explaining things to others, and am eager to take on new tasks—whether indoors or outdoors.

In the past, I have gained hands-on experience in various fields, including landscaping, my current position at an insurance company, and multiple student-led or volunteer projects. I’m always ready to adapt and contribute wherever support is needed.

In addition to my love for sports, I also enjoy relaxing and unwinding as a true couch potato. I have a passion for watching great movies and immersing myself in captivating stories.

I also have a habit of approaching everyday challenges with creativity, often coming up with innovative solutions and ideas to make life a little easier or more efficient. Whether I’m staying active or enjoying some downtime, I’m always finding ways to keep my mind engaged and curious.
