British couple who quit their charity jobs to move to Aotearoa, buy a van, climb mountains, and dive into social impact projects the world of conservation.

Anna //
Lifelong experience growing up in a hands-on, self employed, art/design and printmaking family home. Shared with a sister as well as young foster placements. Recently left the UK and charity job behind to keep exploring my mission of creating positive societal impact through research, design, and action. Interests include swimming (anywhere), reading exceptionally long fantasy books, video gaming (almost exclusive to Zelda), and avid cinema plus post-mix soda lover.

Fred //
I want to see impact in the work I do: making change in the moment while contributing towards larger long term goals. Looking to work with my hands and get stuck in to all sorts of eco and building projects. Tech savvy, able to help with general IT with a focus in microsoft excel / data analytics. I find happiness in all the little things. Practice daily meditation, lover of board games, vegetarian, enjoy a good multi-day tramp, recently taken up knitting.

Anna // Design professional with a focus on graphics & co design
> Communication designer, working with communities and young people to come up with creative design solutions for social issues.
> Lifelong printmaker, mainly wood and lino cut, with some past experience in running screen-printing workshops with communities.
> 5 years experience in hospitality work including, bars, pubs, bakeries and market stalls (learnt to sling a good espresso)
> Graphic designer, can whip up a quick poster or long book, happy to lend a hand where wanted.

Fred // All-rounder with expertise in data
> Recent work at a campsite helping clean and manage the grounds - experience working outdoors with hand tools, powered tools (drills, saws, scrub bar), ride on mower, cleaning bathrooms
> Built a career working in the non-profit/charity sector in the UK, with a focus on data analytics & database management - great with Excel, basic coding, generally tech savvy
> 3+ Years in front of house hospo - opening & closing, working in a team, muddle a good mojito
> Quick to pick up new skills

We're currently working our way around the south island in an old toyota hiace, soaking in the kiwi culture, exploring the backcountry, doing freelance design work, and playing a cooperative LotR board game together on rainy days
