Hello!

We are Mario and Francisco, 53 and 49, living, working, and traveling together for the last 9 years.
We are simple, honest, straightforward people who love communication and to get to know new people. We are always open to acquiring new knowledge and skills, and to genuinely contribute with our skills and experience to others.

English/Brazilian and Italian/Argentinian, we both speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, and a very basic Italian that we are needing to improve.
We will be available in Italy (Rome) from August 4th. From then, we can coordinate with the host the length of our stay.

Me, Francisco, am Italian by father, grew up in Argentina and have a basic knowledge of Italian, that I'm looking to happily improve during our stay in Italy. I worked in gastronomy and hospitality for 10 years. Mario, grew up in Brazil and England (half/half), and worked in a Multinational company for 25 years.

We are experienced people, respectful and hard workers. We are passionate about animals. We grew up closely involved with them, caring for and treating injured street animals. We love nature, silence skies at night, and we are fascinated by insects and birds.

We were working together in Europe these last years restoring houses, doing cosmetic improvements (see pictures in our webpage: www.toitados.wordpress.com /). We have experience gardening, clearing areas in the woods, cutting the lawn, weeding, painting, restoring, bringing back to life unused objects, cleaning/tidying up, maintaining the pool, also minor plumbing and electricity jobs (no installation), and decorating. We are always open also to learn something new and to help. We are enthusiastic people.

Just in case somebody needs it, we built certain experience editing videos, editing sound, taking and editing pictures (Adobe Photoshop), establishing online presence, and one of us is also passionate about arts: painting, illustration, collage, puppetry, ceramics, tiles, and music (classical and folklore). Focused on composition and harmony (generally speaking)

We eat absolutely everything and drink mainly water. We are good rule followers and we do not smoke (kind of hate it...). Only rarely and just socially Mario drinks alcohol. We are very mindful of noise so we avoid listening to music, etc... out loud. We adjust our sleeping time to the house rules. We are quiet people. We do not have habits that may bother others. We take a shower once a day, and we can cook dishes when the host so wish (we love it!)
We are very clean and ordered people, we make sure to be tidy and clean everything we use in the house and we are happy to help in general cleaning too!

We grew up immersed in the natural world of South America and the hustle and bustle of London and other big cities in the world. We lived for years, in countries like Argentina, Brazil, England, Portugal, Spain and Turkey, and we have traveled together to more than 15 countries, meeting wonderful people here and there.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Mario has worked in the corporate world for 25 years and I, Francisco, am a cook and a baker. From dinner for many people to big anniversary cakes. Love making bread.
We traveled and worked restoring houses for the last 9 years: painting walls , building walls or restoring original floors. Making tiles, vitraux, fake marble, interior decoration, etc.
I´m also passionate about illustration, puppetry, ceramics, and different type of crafts. I´m good with my hands, I can stay doing certain labors for hours, from peeling veggies to making drawings with a pencil. People say that I have a lot of patience. I also love every task related to contact with nature... even things that I´m not experienced at. If there is work related to nature, I will probably love it. I´m particularly good caring of animals, specially cats , birds, and dogs. I´m the type of guy who cannot leave an injured animal without caring for it. I absolutely understand them, I´m in their same frequency :)
