Hi, my name is Florian, 22 years old and from the Bavarian countryside. To put it short, I am simply incredibly hungry for life.

After finishing my A-levels, I immediately started my studies for Law and Economics (LL.B.) at the University of Bayreuth. The longer I studied, the more I questioned the concept of University (which mainly consists of listening to professors reading off slides, hectically learning stuff by heart during exam season, regurgitating everything during the exams, and then forgetting about it within a week). Still, I finished the degree (my parents wanted me to) and am now incredibly hungry for life and all the amazing joys it has to offer!


To me, those joys are: languages and literature, playing the piano (and music in general), connecting with authentic people, nature, animals, and last but not least sports. I recently tried surfing for the first time and was immediately hooked. I definitely want to improve my surfing in New Zealand

Furthermore, i love languages: German is my native tongue, I speak English fluently, and my French is at an advanced level. My dream is to travel to an English-speaking country to meet new people, connect with nature, and improve my language skills.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

After years of studying, I’ve acquired a few “classic student skills": strong analytical thinking, discipline, self-organization, and the ability to take responsibility (and survive deadlines). Teamwork, curiosity, and picking things up quickly have also been essential along the way. Writing and working with language are second nature to me after countless essays and presentations.

Beyond the desk, I bring social skills, empathy, and real-life experience – whether it’s spending time with animals or supporting elderly people. In short: I learn fast, work hard, and enjoy connecting with others. A special interest of mine would be aquiring some more practical skills ( like gardening, woodwork, construction etc.)
