Hi! Our names are Caitie and Finn. We are from the UK and work in Healthcare (Caitie) and Sustainability (Finn).

We are both 28 years old and after 4 years living in London have made the decision to get out of the city and move to Canada for a new lifestyle. We have an approved IEC visa and want to spend our time in Canada outdoors as much as possible.

Finn: I am an outdoors and adventure enthusiast. I try to document some of my adventures and thoughts on my blog: adventureconscious.com. I have also got some experience in labouring and gardening so can use some of these skills to help out. I am very physically active and excited to move from the office chair to being outside and doing physical work in beautiful landscapes. I spent a season in France working as a Chalet Host in the Alps. During this time I looked after a chalet and cooked food for my guests.

I've spent 5 years working in sustainability and have a passion for helping decarbonize our planet and preserve the amazing places we are lucky to explore.

In my free time I would love to go on hikes and swims and explore the amazing Canadian Landscape.

Caitie: I come from a big family so am used to a busy house, helping out where I can and looking after younger siblings. I enjoy cooking and find it a way to de-stress after a long day, and love how a meal can bring a busy household together after a day apart.

Most recently I worked in a hospital in London, delivering care to cancer patients on clinical trials. I loved being part of these people's lives and hearing their stories while caring for them, and although hard at points the job overall was extremely rewarding.
While at school & University I worked in a coffee shop & behind the bar at a local pub which was also a great way to meet and chat to different people.

Travelling has always been a huge part of my life, having volunteered in Fiji for a summer in 2017, travelled around South East Asia before University and lived in Australia with my family when I was younger.

I'm looking forward to living a slower and more mindful life after being in London for 5 years, and to experiencing the gorgeous scenery and activities Canada has to offer.
