Hi! I'm Filippo, a 25-year-old Italian currently travelling through Australia. I have hands-on experience in organic farming — I've worked in greenhouses, managed field operations and operated tractors on a small organic farm in Italy, helped with grape harvest at an organic winery cooperative, and recently completed courses in regenerative multi-species livestock management and agroecology.

I'm currently based in Byron Bay but ready to move — I'm looking for a real Australian farm experience where I can contribute meaningfully, learn from people who love what they do, and get my hands dirty every day. I'm physically fit, used to demanding outdoor work, and genuinely passionate about sustainable agriculture and soil regeneration.

I speak intermediate English and am improving every day. I'm reliable, curious, and always happy to take on whatever needs doing.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have practical experience across several areas of organic and sustainable agriculture. In Italy, I worked as a farm operator managing field operations, soil preparation and harvest, and as a greenhouse worker cultivating produce in a controlled organic environment. I also participated in grape harvest and cellar work at an organic winery cooperative.

Beyond farming, I have completed formal training in regenerative multi-species livestock management and agroecology, as well as a honey sensory analysis course — I'm also an active member of a beekeeping association.

Physically, I'm comfortable with demanding outdoor work, machinery operation (including tractor), and long days in the field. I adapt quickly, follow instructions well, and am genuinely motivated to learn new skills rather than just complete tasks.

Other practical skills include kitchen assistance, housekeeping, and heavy vehicle driving. I recently completed a yoga teacher training programme and have experience in guest-facing hospitality roles.

Outside of work, I'm passionate about yoga and meditation — I recently completed a Level 1 Yoga Teacher Training and have practised Vipassana. I enjoy surfing, being in nature, and spending time around animals.

I love good food and cooking, and I'm genuinely curious about different cultures and ways of living — one of the reasons I came to Australia was to broaden my perspective and connect with people who have a different relationship with the land.

I'm a calm, reflective person who enjoys both hard work and quiet evenings. I'm comfortable living simply, adapting to new environments, and being part of a household routine. I don't need much — just meaningful work, good company, and open skies.

I also enjoy reading, learning, and having real conversations. I'm the kind of person who asks a lot of questions — not because I'm unsure, but because I'm genuinely interested.
