Hello,

My name is Fien. I am a 22 year old Belgian girl who just graduated in dietetics and nutrition. I haven't decided what I want to do career wise, so I saw this as a perfect opportunity to start out as a workawayer.
I really want to explore as much of the world as possible, and traveling has always been one of my favorite things to do. I love spending time outside in nature. Doesn't matter if it's hiking, surfing, laying on a beach or in a field, working outside... as long as I'm outside I feel happier. Even better if there are animals involved! They always make me feel at peace and I love spending time with them. We have 2 dogs and 4 cats at home and sometimes I can't get enough of them.
As my degree suggests I also really love food. Cooking and baking are activities that I really enjoy. Discovering new foods or different cultures trough food is something I am always excited about!
Besides that I also really love reading, especially in novels and fantasy books I can completely loose myself.

In generally I am still really curious about a lot of things. I want to try and discover as many new things as possible before I try to live in a way society expects from us.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I haven't had a workaway experience yet.
During my studies I had a few internships: I helped in a commercial kitchen, worked as a dietitian in a hospital in Suriname and worked in a food technology company.
As a student I also did different kinds of jobs to earn some extra money: I worked in a pizzeria for 5 years where I worked in the kitchen and did the register, helped in an industrial bakery and I have some experience in different kinds of stores.
I am not a big handy-man since I don't have any experience in that area, but I would love to learn! Getting my hands dirty doesn't scare me.
I'm a social person and not afraid of interacting with people.
The same goes for animals, I'm even better with most of them than with humans :)
