Description

I am a literature teacher. I love teaching, passing on what I know and encouraging students to know, discover and live, with enthusiasm and courage. I encourage them to do it, and to travel. I love traveling. I have made several trips. But I still want to travel a lot. I still want to know. In this small world, there is still so much to see. Traveling is immersing yourself in the world of others, forgetting yourself, or rather rediscovering yourself. I also love music. But also silence. For this reason, I love nature, its music. I teach, but I don't consider myself arrived. Like Socrates, “I know that I do not know.” I still want to learn. And I know that there is no better way to learn than to experience, to see with your own eyes, to deal with differences, to transform differences into new ways of seeing the world. I'm here for this.

Knowing languages ​​is essential for communicating and making yourself understood, but also for other reasons: being a teacher and loving writing, I would like to teach what I know even to those who don't know my language and I would also like to translate other people's books. I want to improve my English and make my French more fluent. I would also like to relearn German and learn Spanish. Every time I travel, I love coming home with some new words from the countries I've been to. If I could, I would like to learn many languages.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a degree in Modern Literature. Currently, I am a high school teacher. Before teaching, I had several jobs. I worked in a tour operator and for a magazine. I like to write, express what I feel about myself and see about the world. I have used and use computers for work and pleasure. My English is enough to communicate, even if it's not fluent, but I try and I want to improve. I can speak a little French, I studied it in high school. I also studied German, but I would have to relearn it. I have lived in Milan for many years, in an apartment, but before that I also lived in the countryside, for five years. The house had a large garden: I gardened and took care of the chickens. There I discovered how much I love nature. I like walking, trekking. I love being in nature and taking care of it. With my students we work a lot on this, in our small way we try to improve the world. I try to pass on to my students everything I know and learn, especially the love of life. I like to eat, experiment with foods and try my hand at culinary traditions that I don't know. I'm not an expert cook, but I like cooking. I like music, dancing and singing. I love music, but also silence. I think I am a person who knows how to be in company, whose company is pleasant, because I really like chatting and laughing, but also because I know how to stay silent and respect the silence of others. I can travel alone or in company. If I travel alone, I like meeting new people. Talk to them, hear their stories. Maybe one day I will write about them, their stories, and my own.

I like art, ancient and modern. To a museum, however, I prefer a small castle or a temple. I love being silent in a church or temple, but also immersing myself in the chaos of the labyrinthine streets of a medieval city. I like books, reading alone or out loud. I love reading aloud in class, reciting a passage to my students, seeing them involved and excited. I like theatre. I took a theater course in high school, it was a wonderful experience. I like cinema. I love old films, the ones that many don't like, but I can also love the great successes of contemporary cinema. I like board games, especially the creative ones, but also the crazy ones. I love playing and being with children. I love being a child again. Like a child, I love running, dancing and singing. I'm not a dancer or a singer. But I took a few dance classes, as a youth and as an adult... and, ok, I admit it: I love karaoke with friends!
