Hi, my name is Fernando, I am 21 years old and I am from Germany. I study psychology and I am currently travelling through latin america after finishing an internship in Valencia, Spain.

I am a very social and open-minded person that really enjoys working with children (which I have done almost all my life now). I have done three voluntary projects already: One in Costa Rica in a national park and two in colombia, working with children, teaching them english and things about sustainability.

The most important thing regarding volunteering work is, that I have the feeling, that I really can make an impact. I cannot really handle the feeling of not beeing needed during my work.

Other than that, I think, I would be able to do almost everything if I have enough time to get into it and learn the things required to do that.

The things I can do already are teaching languages, in general working with children and making them feel good, communicating with people I don´t know yet and above all adapting myself to new situations and new environments. That is the one thing, I would say, I am really good at.

I am interested in both teaching and learning languages. I would be able to teach german, english, spanish and frensh for beginners. I am generally interested in learning every language, especially portuguese or italian.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I speak 4 languages fluently: German, English, Spanish and French: I have been teaching those languages to children for 6 years in the language and tutoring school of my mother. So I guess I would say my most usefull skill I have gained so far is the teaching of languages.

My favourite sports are football and tennis, since I played those all my life. I also like to play every other sport that involves a ball and am generelly very eager to do a lot of sport and discover new things there.

I also like to play the piano and I like to read (sometimes).
